Our Story

Best Bites is a Blount County based, family owned and operated catering company.  We offer healthy whole foods to the Blount County market and Greater Knoxville area. Whether it be weddings, corporate events or family gatherings, Best Bites customizes a tasty, healthy, but creative menu to enhance every event. We are able to create tasty alternatives to traditional dishes to meet specific dietary requirements.

A standard of excellence with quality ingredients is important to our business philosophy. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service, maintaining positive client relationships, and serving our community with a ministry to others through our food products.

Best Bites has worked hard to build a client base by providing healthy, whole foods to families. We started in 2015 by publishing a menu with 6 entrees and delivering food to busy families based on customer orders. After a while, we cut the menu down to three entrees with sides to keep up with demand, while also working other full and part time jobs.

Upon review and reflection we decided in the summer of 2018 to take a break from weekly meal prep and shift our focus to catered events. Now, we enjoy catering all sorts of events from weddings to corporate events to small, private dinner parties.

Linda, the family matriarch, has been a farm wife for over 50 years. In addition to freezing and canning fruits and vegetables from her husband Dean’s garden, she also taught high school math for 30 years.
